As founder and director, I oversee the company’s growth and am involved in most of our larger, strategic projects. I specifically enjoy working with our clients on strategic challenges and assessing exciting new targets, in the UK, Europe and further afield. Our company initially focused on advising B2B events players and investors in this space, but we have since successfully added new sectors and areas of expertise. I’m especially proud of our team’s strategic insights and analytics work.
I have always had a deep interest in media, economics and current affairs, which led me from studying Business Administration and writing my PhD thesis about strategy development in political parties to working for a media company and running a radio station. Later on, I discovered strategy consulting – with its inspirational clients and mentors, ever-evolving client challenges and constant deadlines. I worked as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and later re-focused on the media industry when working for Ocean Strategy.
When not at work, you will probably find me outdoors with our whippet Jack, training for the next marathon, enjoying London’s cultural events or trying to play the piano.

As Principal, I work on a broad range of strategy, M&A and innovation projects. I really enjoy working as part of the multi-national team at SG STRATEGY, the in-depth analysis and research we undertake on each project and creating insights into the wide range of industries we cover as part of our work in B2B media.
When not at work, you will find probably find me travelling, seeing a play or working on a new stained-glass piece.

What inspires me: The fun of cracking complex problems and learning new things, and delivering great work to our clients
As a Project Leader, I run a wide range of projects for our clients, managing workstreams such as quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis and integration. Our work builds up answers to complex problems by scrutinising client data, consolidating industry information and conferring with market experts.
Since joining SG STRATEGY, I have enjoyed working on various types of projects focusing on a wide range of B2B and consumer media. Projects have ranged from commercial and vendor due diligence, pricing and turnaround strategy to product innovation and launch. I greatly enjoy the collaborative, structured and rigorous approach taken by the team.
When not at work, you will probably find me playing cards, music or a range of sports in a strictly amateur capacity.

What inspires me: Passions and ideas of others; the feeling of finally grasping a new concept
As a consultant at SG Strategy, I work closely with our clients on solving their most pressing commercial and strategic issues. I have worked on a range of commercial due diligence and strategy projects, with a specific focus on education and healthcare, manufacturing and fashion.
The variety of projects and challenges means that no day is like the other. I enjoy collaborating with our clients and internal teams, and have been greatly inspired by my colleagues’ dedication and problem-solving skills. Before joining SG Strategy, I gained my work experience as a research assistant at Chinese University of Hong Kong.
In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and exploring new places and culture, playing piano and treating myself with home-cooking.

In my role as researcher at SG STRATEGY no two days are ever the same. I help the team get under the skin of key projects by carrying out detailed desk research, gathering insights and conducting strategic market interviews. I also bring extensive experience of the travel industry and a passion for sustainability and responsible business.
When not at work, I like to take a break by listening to audiobooks and improving my rather basic watercolour skills.

What inspires me: Discovering and learning something new every day
As a research associate at SG Strategy, I focus on our firm’s data gathering, analysis and interpretation. I regularly conduct strategic market interviews, speak to industry experts, run large e-surveys and do desk research.
Over the last year, I have specifically focused on B2B events and corporate & incentive travel, digital marketing, gaming and healthcare. I have also worked extensively on analysing international policy responses to the Covid-19 crisis, assessing the perceived impact on the business community and general public, and worked for a media company offering information services on citizenship rights.
What I appreciate most about working for SG Strategy are the dynamism of the job and the constant learning opportunities. Thanks to the diversity of our projects, there is always something new to learn – be it about industry sectors, new products and start-ups, or economics and politics. I also really enjoy the stimulating and supportive team spirit.
When I am not working, you will most likely find me reading – mostly about history and politics, playing or watching sports and taking very long walks around London

As Office Manager at SG STRATEGY, I provide administrative support to our team, such as travel planning, accounting and planning events. I have previously worked in similar roles and enjoy applying my problem-solving and communication skills to support teams achieve their best.
When I’m not at work I look after my young daughter, e.g. enjoying our time at the local swimming pool.
